The 13th edition of ACREX India to be held from 23rd to 25th February 2012 at Bangalore organized by Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) with the professional expertise of Nürnberg Messe (NM) and Bangalore International Exhibition Services (BIES), aims to surpass the expectations of the previous shows and set new precedents and standards for all such future Exhibitions. |

Fully Functional High Performance

Yesterday was Green! Today is not Green! ACREX India 2012 is for a Greener Tomorrow!
"Prana" is a greener initiative by ISHRAE to showcase some of the many Greener aspects.
Prana is the fully functional permanent exhibit of a High Performance Home Office at BIEC, Bangalore. Prana, fully conceived by ISHRAE will be unveiled during ACREX India 2012.
This exhibit will be spread over an area of 300 sq.mt comprising of entrance deck, entrance lobby, Living and Dining, Conference, Bedroom and toilet spread across 200 sq.mt

Air-conditioning using Earth air tunnel system, Radiant floor and ceiling cooling, energy efficient lighting, Low flow water fittings, greener materials and facades will be an eye opener highlighting the energy saving features.
The power generation will be through Solar/Photovoltaic cells. Energy efficient electrical gadgets and recycled materials will be of added interest.
The energy produced and consumed will be monitored using the state of the art microprocessor controls.
Many like minded companies such as REHAU are supporting this noble cause, while many others are showing keen interest to underwrite their contribution.
